Services

Consultation
Our consultation is normally 1 - 2 hours in length with both myself and Terri Vanklevern to avail you with a wealth of information due to our diverse backgrounds.

This consultation is a prerequisite to any hands-on organizing. Just as a professional builder knows there needs to be a blueprint before any construction is started, likewise this plan will be a road map from where you are to where you want to be, including the in depth steps and materials needed to put the plan into action.

Evenings, Weekend and Holidays
We understand that today everyone is working on different shifts, so to accommodate everyone's organizing needs we are flexible, and are available from 8:00am - 8:00pm. We do schedule appointments on Saturdays, depending on our organizer's availability. No extra fee is required.

Due to the heat here in Florida, depending on the project, we may require starting extra early during the summertime.

Sunday is a day of worship, therefore we are not available.

Total Organizing Solutions does not organize...
Anything illegal, including drugs, rifles or handguns, loaded or not. Any pornography, cremated remains, sex toys, animals (dead or alive) will not be handled by our organizers. Also for safety of us all, any science laboratory chemicals or other hazardous materials will be off limits. If these items are stored in the space, they would need to be removed prior to our session. If our Organizer needs to leave and make another trip to the home or office due to these items being present, the entire session fee will be forfeited.

Cancellations
24 hours notice is required to reschedule.

Referrals
Refer a new client to us and receive a full hour of complementary organizing for yourself as our appreciation!

Maintenance
Despite our best efforts, life happens, things get away from us, a new business, family crisis, illness, and we seem to fall back a little. Don't think you are alone, it happens to all of us. We will be happy to help you through those difficult times to get things back in control.

Code of Ethics
As a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers, I pledge to exercise judgment, self-restraint, and conscience in my conduct in order to establish and maintain public confidence in the integrity of NAPO members and to preserve and encourage fair and equitable practices among all who are engaged in the profession of organizing.

Working Relationships
I will serve my clients with integrity, competence, and objectivity, and will treat them with respect and courtesy.

I will offer services in those areas in which I am qualified and will accurately represent those qualifications in both verbal and written communications.

When unable or unqualified to fulfill requests for services, I will make every effort to recommend the services of other qualified organizers and/or other qualified professionals.

I will advertise my services in an honest manner and will represent the organizing profession accurately.

Confidentiality
I will keep confidential all client information, both business and personal, including that which may be revealed by other organizers.

I will use proprietary client information only with the client's permission.

I will keep client information confidential and not use it to benefit myself or my firm, or reveal this information to others.

Fees
I will decide independently and communicate to my client in advance my fees and expenses, and will charge fees and expenses which I deem reasonable, legitimate, and commensurate with my experience, the services I deliver, and the responsibility I accept.

I will make recommendations for products and services with my client's best interests in mind.

Colleagues
I will seek and maintain an equitable, honorable, and cooperative association with other NAPO members and will treat them with respect and courtesy.

I will respect the intellectual property rights (materials, titles, and thematic creations) of my colleagues, and other firms and individuals, and will not use proprietary information or methodologies without permission.

I will act and speak on a high professional level so as not to bring discredit to the organizing profession.
